Abstract
La plus récente politique d’organisation du système de santé du Québec se structure autour de la notion de projet. Néanmoins, la mise en œuvre de ces projets cliniques n’est pas uniquement une question de gestion de projet, mais renvoie aussi à une interrogation sur le sens que les acteurs de ces projets donnent au concept. En effet, nous montrons ici qu’au cours de l’évolution du système de santé du Québec, entre 1967 et 2008, l’idée de projet a pris plusieurs significations. La superposition de ces significations peut aujourd’hui amener les différents acteurs des projets cliniques à avoir des attentes différentes quant à leurs modalités d’organisation. Les implications de cette situation sont discutées en termes des défis qu’elles posent à la recherche sur l’organisation par projet dans le système de santé.
