Abstract
Hier peu sollicitées, les transitions sont devenues aujourd’hui des temporalités incontournables qui désormais accompagnent et orientent les parcours de vie adulte. En venant s’imposer dans nos espaces quotidiens de vie depuis une ou deux générations, elles ont été l’objet d’un changement dans les significations qu’on leur attribuait jusqu’ici : de spatiales, elles sont devenues temporelles ; hier ambivalentes, elles apparaissent aujourd’hui convoitées ; confinées à l’enfance autrefois, elles se focalisent désormais sur la vie adulte. De telles métamorphoses nous invitent donc à saisir les enjeux auxquels sont confrontés les parcours de vie adulte lorsqu’ils s’organisent sur le mode transitionnel.
