Abstract
On m’a demandé d’aborder avec vous la question de l’association et je le fais d’autant volontiers que je suis moi-même associé, depuis près de quatre ans, aux Frères des écoles chrétiennes du District du Canada francophone, frères avec qui je collabore depuis déjà trente ans. Mon itinéraire et ma formation ont donc été marqués par les lassalliens, leur spiritualité, leur pédagogie et leur engagement dans le domaine de la formation chrétienne des jeunes. J’aurais pu me contenter de vous parler à partir de cette expérience, mais cela aurait sans doute été un point de vue trop particulier. Je vous parlerai donc plutôt à partir de la réflexion qui se fait au Québec sur cette question qui se pose pour plusieurs familles religieuses avec qui j’ai eu l’occasion de travailler un peu le sujet à la suite d’invitations d’un certain nombre d’entre elles. De plus, il y a trois ans, notre faculté a patronné un petit colloque sur la question. C’est à partir de cet arrière-fond que je soumettrai à la discussion quelques réflexions.
