Abstract
Entre la mythologie et les origines collectives, il existe un rapport etroit que l’auteur de Don Goyo exploite pour penser la nation equatorienne. Au-dela du projet de realisme social du roman, le recours aux mythes bibliques qui sacralise l’univers indien pour l’inscrire dans le temps des origines, d´une part, la creation de legendes et de mythes autour de certains personnages du roman, d´autre part, construisent des symboles et des figures tutelaires. Mythifie, l’Indien est condamne a disparaitre de la societe pour laisser la place au metis, synonyme de progres et d’avenir.
