Abstract
Richly illustrated catalogue documenting an event held in Montreal in the summer of 2001, where 55 works from the collection of the Musee d’art contemporain were presented in the Museum and in various unusual sites around the city. Belisle and Gagnon provide analyses of the artists’ works and practices, and explain the curatorial intent in pairing each work installed off-site with one exhibited in the Museum. The catalogue layout of the reproductions (including 12 large-scale fold-outs) emphasizes these comparisons. Texts in French; includes leaflet with English translation.
