Abstract
Cambio climtico y energa son dos caras de la misma moneda. Por ello, para afrontar con xito el problema del cambio climtico es necesario un cambio importante en los sistemas energticos actuales. Sin embargo, la mitigacin de las emisiones de gases de efecto invernadero ha sido limitada hasta el momento, en buena medida por las caractersticas del cambio climtico: externalidad global y dinmica sujeta a numerosas incertidumbres. Independientemente de una mayor o menor cooperacin internacional, no obstante, hay razones (no solo climticas) para actuaciones unilaterales y, dentro de stas, las energas renovables han de jugar un papel fundamental. En este trabajo resumimos las principales conclusiones de los estudios prospectivos
