Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

Chapter 1, “Main Group Compounds and Ligands,” is a collection of syntheses that focus primarily on the main group elements. These include a number of compounds of boron and aluminum, e.g., the diboron compound B2(1,2-O2C6H4)2, the sodium salt of a non-coordinating anion, Na[B(3,5-(CF3)2C6H2)4], salts of a potentially tridentate “scorpionate” ligand, e.g., [n-Bu4N][PhB(CH2PPh2)3], cationic six-coordinate aluminum complexes, such as [Al(Salen)(H2O)2]Cl, and a tabular form of α-alumina. In addition there are syntheses of useful carbon and nitrogen ligands, such as para-substituted aryl isocyanides, e.g., p-CNC6H4NC, and unsymmetrical tripod ligands with mixed pyridyl and pyrazolyl appendages. Also included are detailed procedures for the preparation of tetramethylammonium salts of superoxide and peroxynitrite, the pentavalent arsenic compound, AsF2Ph3, and several tellurium-nitrogen compounds derived from lithium tert-butylamide, Li[HNtBu].

Fetched live from OpenAlex and de-inverted. Abstracts are not stored in this database: the inverted indexes are 8.6 GB of the frame’s 9.3 GB of text, and the host has 13 GB free.

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. The Gemma side is a direct model label for every work in the frame, read from the title-only record. The Codex side is a classifier learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and calibrated to design-weighted sample rates; fields without enough sample support carry no Codex call. Candidate is the union of the two sides; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
