Abstract
Les relations ethniques et les relations de classes sociales se combinent dans certaines situations de sociétés dépendantes dont le Québec serait un exemple. Une comparaison est établie entre cette approche et celle qui est traitée par Touraine au sujet des Sociétés dépendantes d'Amérique latine et par Wilson concernant les Noirs américains. L'analyse des classes au Québec oblige à recourir à un double système de stratification qui avait conduit à utiliser le concept de "classe ethnique" et à montrer comment les acteurs dans une telle situation participent aux luttes de classes et aux changements historiques à des niveaux différents de la réalité sociale.
