Abstract
La question des genres ne cesse d’interroger. Il s’agit ici de se demander si le genre théâtral n’est pas un lieu privilégié de réponse (non définitive) à l’interrogation générique. Par sa corporéité et son rapport à l’espace, n’est-il pas un lieu d’hospitalité pour le "qui ?" et le "quoi" ? La scène semble sans jamais la résoudre, accueillir et transcender la problématique des genres : terre de passage, de rencontre ultime des sujets et du sujet de l’œuvre. Lieu d’ouverture par excellence. Au sein de ses répliques et sur ses planches, le théâtre joue, avec gravité, du mélange des genres sexuels, grammaticaux, littéraires, artistiques... La scène peut-elle être le lieu ultime des dépassements en tous genres ? L’œuvre de Valère Novarina est un exemple significatif de cette recherche.
