Abstract
E meu proposito, neste texto, contextualizar a deriva/dilemas da educacao, enquanto um dos campos da Politica Social (sectorizada, fragmentada, burocraticamente administrada) e expressao do Estado Social como garante dos direitos economico-sociais e dos direitos culturais, associados aos direitos civico-politicos. Nesta perspectiva, importa superar o conceito de educacao como instrucao (a escola como espaco cientifico-tecnico) atraves da articulacao da formacao etico-politica com a formacao o estetico-expressiva. Para o efeito, urge semear/construir uma nova cultura na e pela comunidade/ sociedade civil para conferir legitimidade ao Estado de direito democratico e civilizar o mercado global. A cidadania participativa recomenda-se e a democracia como habitus quotidiano impoe-se como designio da educacao (formal, nao-formal e informal).
