Abstract
Cet article vise à saisir comment le roman La conjuration des bâtards de Francine Noël propose une axiologie métissée, à travers d’une part la célébration de la figure de l’aubain et du déplacement et d’autre part la reconnaissance politique par la délibération, grâce à un sommet sociopolitique qui est lu comme une pantopie transaméricaine. En faisant converger l’ensemble des protagonistes du cycle romanesque de Maryse à Mexico, Noël lie l’appartenance continentale du Québec au besoin discursif d’ouverture à des périphéries militantes, dans une lecture politique et identitaire de l’Amérique latine. La mise en récit de ce sous-continent se fait alors par la célébration d’une résistance qui passe par la prise de parole légitimante, selon la définition que lui donne Jacques Rancière.
