La Associació Catalana de Recursos Assistencials (ACRA) organiza cada año un viaje con la finalidad de conocer la organización y la gestión de equipamientos, centros y servicios dirigidos a las personas mayores. Este año el país escogido fue Canadá, más concretamente las provincias de Ontario y Quebec. Conocer una realidad diferente ayuda a descubrir otras formas de intervenir, modelos de gestión diferentes, filosofías de vida y de organización distintas. Es por este motivo que un viaje profesional ofrece la oportunidad de ampliar horizontes, adquirir conocimientos, ver otras filosofías y metodologías de trabajo. El objetivo del siguiente texto es transmitir vivencias e impresiones del viaje profesional.
