Abstract
This chapter discusses three cases of patients with infection-related liver disease and highlights some of the issues facing the treating clinician. The first two cases discuss chronic viral hepatitis in some detail and illustrate some of the common problems seen during management of these patients both before and after liver transplantation. The third case describes a parasitic infection that is infrequently seen in the developed world and discusses diagnosis and management.
