Abstract
Abstract Divalent corrosion inhibitors are tested in the lab and field and compared against monomeric analogs. In laboratory wheelbox testing the dimeric substrates achieved target protection efficiencies at either comparable or lower dosages than commercially monomeric substrates. Similar results were established in oil field well line testing. A rational for the surface activity of the dimeric analogs is advanced.
