Abstract
In this letter, Gandhi gave Lord Ampthill also a preview of HS. Upon receipt of the letter Lord and Lady Ampthill invited Gandhi for a private lunch and to discuss its contents. Unfortunately, the lunch had to be cancelled due to the sudden illness of their son. No new date was set for a lunch as Gandhi had to leave London for South Africa on 13 November 1909.
