Audio recording and transcript of Syd Tickle's 1979 interview with Dave Lovick for the Coal Tyee History Project. Tickle opens the interview by talking about Colin Campbell-Brown's presence in Wellington. He then goes on to talk about various aspects of coal mining, including how women supported the miners in their families, different equipment and methods used in both Nova Scotia and Nanaimo mines, and automation's impact on the industry.
