Abstract
La violence a classiquement été rapportée au droit – violence légitime ou illégitime –, la souffrance aux imaginaires religieux. À travers la relation entre violence et souffrance, une relation s’établit indirectement entre droit et religion. Mais lorsqu’on considère la violence sous l’angle de la suspension de sens (Cortenet al. 2008), la souffrance apparaît comme transformée, y compris dans l’imaginaire religieux. Le « Arrête de souffrir » du nouveau pentecôtisme ouvre à un bouleversement qui rejoint la posture politique consistant à refuser de se sentir d’abord comme victime. L’exposé de ce texte sera consacré à la comparaison de cette injonction religieuse avec la posture de l’expression politique de la souffrance.
