Abstract
Résumé Cet article s’intéresse au phénomène actuel d’instrumentalisation des valeurs fondamentales de l’entreprise comme force d’homogénéisation. Ce besoin semble répondre à la nécessité de construire une identité sociale et exprime la volonté de l’entreprise de réaffirmer l’importance de sa culture face aux mutations de l’environnement socioéconomique. La démarche du groupe Fournier est explicitée dans le cadre d’une approche «ressources». L’analyse des conditions de réussite de cette démarche met en évidence l’importance pour l’entreprise de parvenir à maintenir une cohérence entre les valeurs affichées et ses autres orientations stratégiques et organisationnelles; ces valeurs doivent, d’autre part, trouver leur concrétisation dans les pratiques de façon à réduire l’inévitable tension entre l’idéal et le réel.
