Abstract
Sous le terme de « crise » des cités, des quartiers, des banlieues, des villes, se cache un échec des outils pratiques et théoriques de définition et de projet de l’urbanisme. L’hypothèse que nous décidons d’éclairer et d’étayer est que ces outils n’atteignent ni ne travaillent leur objet et leur sujet réels et qu’il faut produire un outillage interpétatif spécifique que nous nommons « Pratiques critiques de l’espace » (PCE) .Nous décrivons différentes situations où les PCE, critiquant le zonage moderne et les cumuls post- modernes, se fondent sur la spontanéité, l’humour, les sociabilités, dans une perspective d’esthétisation des espaces publics.
