Abstract
Dans l’enseignement secondaire, des projets culturels sont conduits avec des partenaires (artistes, médiateurs culturels). La musique étant souvent vue comme appréciée par les jeunes, les projets en matière musicale, surtout présents dans des classes fréquentées par des élèves de milieux populaires, sont sous-tendus par différentes logiques, mises au jour dans l’article : pédagogies du détour, socialisation, adaptation aux goûts des adolescents, diffusion de répertoires patrimoniaux, initiation à l’écoute savante et scolaire des œuvres, introduction à la création musicale. Les différents modes d’articulation de ces logiques dans ces projets composites contribuent inégalement à l’appropriation par les élèves des contenus qu’ils connaissent le moins.
