Abstract
Local administration territorial organization in Canada is interesting due to several reasons. Firstly, Canada remains one of few states having no legislation concerning local governance organization. Secondly, as a result there are 13 independent provincial and territorial local governance systems. Th irdly, there is a huge political role of the aboriginal population in Canadian local governance system.
