Abstract
Ce texte fait le point sur l’état du développement des études québécoises au Canada anglais. Il traite de l’objet d’étude et des indices qui permettent de mesurer la vitalité des études québécoises. Bien que les études québécoises semblent sous-développées, ce constat est peut-être trompeur puisque des centres d’études canadiennes et des centres d’études canadiennes-françaises sont bien implantés dans plusieurs universités. Par conséquent, le développement des études québécoises doit tenir compte de la présence et des activités de ces centres. L’article se termine par l’identification de facteurs susceptibles de favoriser l’essor des études québécoises.
