Abstract
Transcribimos la ponencia "Une agenda ethnocentrique" que pronunciara Aníbal Ford durante el Coloque sur la Cooperation Interamericaine au Delá (beyond) du Libre-Échange" (Coloquio para la Cooperación Interamericana Más Allá del Libre Cambio) realizado en el Institut Québécois de Hautes Etudes Internationales de la Universidad Laval (Québec) entre el 17 y el 19 de abril de 2001. El coloquio se realizó casi simultáneamente con la III Cumbre de las Américas (20 al 22 de abril) que contó con la presencia de 34 jefes de gobierno de América del Norte, el Caribe, Centroamérica y América del Sur reunidos para evaluar, entre otros temas, la implementación del Área de Libre Comercio de las Américas (ALCA). Durante este encuentro los grupos "antiglobalización" se congregaron para manifestarse en las calles de Québec contra el ALCA y a favor de los países americanos endeudados. Las fotos que acompañan este documento, también realizadas por Aníbal Ford, testimonian algunos aspectos de esta protesta y de la represión -un sistema ya instalado- a la que fueron sometidas.
