Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

We study the effects of a tilted magnetic field acting on a non‐interacting two‐dimensional electron gas (2DEG). We show that the existence of an angle between the external magnetic field and the normal direction to the 2DEG plane introduces severe changes on the electronic properties of the electron gas, with consequences on the thermodynamic and transport properties. Here, we consider that the electrons of the gas feel the presence of a tilted magnetic field and are confined by a non‐symmetric potential. Then, taking into account the Zeeman and Rashba spin‐orbit interactions, we obtain the Fermi energy, magnetization and the Hall conductivity for magnetic fields with different intensities and tilt angles. The influence of a weak periodic potential on these quantities is also analyzed. Our results show that some specific physical properties can be given to the 2DEG (in a reversible way) with a convenient choice of the intensity and tilt angle.

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. The Gemma side is a direct model label for every work in the frame, read from the title-only record. The Codex side is a classifier learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and calibrated to design-weighted sample rates; fields without enough sample support carry no Codex call. Candidate is the union of the two sides; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
