L’auteur de La classe de Messiaen montre ce que la publication si longtemps attendue des cours d’analyse du maître de Paris apporte à la connaissance de son univers : nature de son approche du rythme, style analytique propre dans le Sacre du printemps ou richesse du discours sur ses propres oeuvres. Ce compte-rendu permet de s’orienter dans ce vaste traité.
