Abstract
Résumé Bien que son champ d’exploration soit celui de la santé et des affaires sociales, la Revue française des Affaires sociales revendique clairement une filiation avec l’ancienne Revue française du Travail , créée en 1946. Les nombreuses commémorations dont elle s’est fait l’écho depuis le début des années 1970 soulignent par ailleurs sa prétention à incarner la mémoire institutionnelle des ministères dits « sociaux » dans toute leur diversité. D’où vient donc cette posture, alors même qu’il existe une autre revue ministérielle, spécialisée dans les questions d’emploi, de travail et de formation professionnelle ? Cet article se propose d’y répondre en appréciant la sensibilité et la plasticité historiques de la RFAS-RFT : comment le rapport de cette revue à l’histoire a-t-il évolué durant soixante ans ? à quels usages différenciés de l’histoire les auteurs de cette même revue ont-ils sacrifié ?
