Abstract
Es nuestro proposito demostrar que los vascos estaban ya presentes en Canada a la llegada de S. de Champlain a las aguas de Grande-Baie, asi como a las del rio Saint-Laurent. Para ello hemos estudiado las Oeuvres de Champlain publicadas por Editions du Jour, Montreal 1973, que estan recogidas en tres volumenes en esta reedicion, con imagenes incluidas. Este trabajo no pretende de ningun modo ser exhaustivo.
