Abstract
La recherche sur le crime dit « passionnel » que nous avons menée à partir de l’étude socio-clinique de 32 dossiers d’instruction de la Cour d’Assises de Lyon montre qu’une très grande partie des hommes meurtriers de leur compagne sont des hommes qui frappaient leur femme, mais aussi qu’ils avaient pu appeler à l’aide d’une façon ou d’une autre. On comprend donc tout l ’ enjeu de la prévention de la récidive des violences conjugales, ainsi que du risque d’homicide qu’elles peuvent entraîner. Aussi, à Saint-Étienne, se tiennent des groupes de parole avec des hommes violents qui ont fait l ’ objet d ’ un dépôt de plainte, expérience menée dans ce but de prévention avec l’aide du Parquet.
