Paragonimiasis (The Lung Fluke)1
Bibliographic record
Abstract
Four proved cases of paragonimiasis are reported. The disease in one patient was diagnosed on tissue sections after a lobectomy had been performed for severe bronchiectasis. Retrospective examination of the sputum revealed the presence of characteristic operculated ova. The patient had never been outside the Province of Quebec. The disease in another patient, a Malaysian, was suspected on clinical and roentgenographic grounds. Needle biopsy of a localized mass led to the diagnosis in a 64-year-old patient with hemoptysis who was an Italian immigrant and who had never been in any areas where paragonimiasis is endemic. The fourth case, in a Filipino woman, was suspected on clinical and roentgenographic evidences. In all 4 cases the findings on cytologic examination of the sputum were diagnostic. The cases illustrate the frequency with which paragonimiasis mimics other diseases, especially tuberculosis. The fact that infested snails were found in the St. Lawrence River should alert physicians and public heal...

Teacher imitationNot calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)
The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.
Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
score_only:v0-immature-baseline · verbatim from the scoring run: score_only means the number may rank works, and no category label ships from itClassification
machine, unvalidatedMachine predicted; a candidate call from one teacher head, not a consensus.
