Abstract
Este artigo enfeixa lineamentos sobre a dimensao existencial da pessoa humana, o dano existencial, o projeto de vida e o dano ao projeto de vida, a luz do Direito Comparado. Colhe subsidios jurisprudenciais relativos a dimensao existencial da pessoa humana. Analisa o dano existencial na concepcao doutrinaria brasileira de matriz italiana e em precedentes judiciais portugueses. Traz a lume a perspectiva humanista e existencial do projeto de vida. Por derradeiro, enfoca o dano ao projeto de vida como nucleo do dano existencial e estuda precedentes judiciais da Corte Interamericana de Direitos Humanos, do Tribunal do Quebec e do Poder Judiciario brasileiro.
