Abstract
Sur la base des travaux de Schwimmer (2000 et 2003), Negt (2007) et Breaugh (2008), l’objectif de cet article est de révéler les contours d’une citoyenneté logée au sein du processus de (dé)colonisation de nations minorisées. Un cas québécois, recueilli au cours d’un terrain en archives, permet d’illustrer les grandes lignes d’une citoyenneté hétérogène en présentant la généalogie d’une dynamique d’inclusion/exclusion de la population d’un village gaspésien ainsi que la forme d’un espace public où est susceptible de se déployer l’expérience du sujet. Une attention particulière est portée au lien politique de même qu’aux pratiques citoyennes qui contribuent à construire cet espace public et l’expérience du sujet. Dans une perspective critique, l’article tente de faire ressortir les conditions de possibilité d’une telle citoyenneté de même que plusieurs éléments susceptibles de contribuer à la transformation du rapport colonial.
