Abstract

In this article the government's attitude to the spreading of the ideas of German philosophy, in particular, Schelling's philosophy. On the basis of the comparative-historical method identified the reasons of the negative attitude of the government to the spread of the ideas of German philosophy in Russia in the first quarter of the XIX century. Schelling's philosophy has formed independent thinking, which was contrary to the conservative course of the government. The government feared that together with German philosophy in Russia will be recorded spirit of freedom peculiar to Europe 1820 year's.
