Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

Palavras-chave: tradição; linguagem; Educação Ambiental; sustentabilidade The Philosophy of nature and environmental education: critical reflection in searc of an ethical managementABSTRACTThis article presents some critical reflections on the Western philosophy, with the purpose of demonstrating how our civilization, as from the empiricism represented by the experimental science and by the denying of the tradition proposed by the philosophy in the 16th and 17th centuries resulted in the present environmental crisis, which, according to Heidegger, exposes an uprooting from what conforms the human being and makes him/her lose the capability to know how to inhabit, to give shelter and to dialogue with the world. Also is part of the proposal of this work to evince the potential of an environmental ethics within the Environmental Education that, by rehabiliting the tradition under Gadamer’s concepts, should permit, by means of the hearing dialectics, to find a language that makes possible to understand the issues presented by the Nature.Key-words: tradition, language, Environmental Education, sustainability

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
