Abstract
Résumé L’objectif général de ce texte est de donner à voir un type de méthode d’enquête relativement peu utilisé et discuté, l’observation participante avec des enfants. À partir d’une enquête de ce type, menée en 2006, on s’intéresse à l’élaboration de la position participante, à la mise en jeu du corps adulte de l’ethnographe et aux effets de son statut symbolique. L’observation participante avec des enfants constitue une épreuve pratique pour l’approche sociologique de l’enfance, et invite à une étude contextuelle des différences adulte/ enfant.
