Impacts de la libéralisation sur les aéroports nationaux en Suisse : comparaison des cas de Genève et Zurich

Abstract
Cet article consiste en une analyse des effets des politiques de libéralisation du secteur aérien sur les deux aéroports suisses de Zurich et Genève. Après avoir identifié les principales transformations dans l’organisation du secteur aérien dans les phases précédentes et succédant à la libéralisation nationale du secteur (1998) et avec l’Union européenne (2002), nous comparons les stratégies de développement des deux infrastructures à l’aide de quatre variables : la diversification fonctionnelle, la dépendance des aéroports aux opérateurs, l’insertion territoriale et la structure capitalistique. Les résultats montrent deux trajectoires diamétralement opposées, avec cependant, même dans un contexte libéralisé, une tendance lourde à l’émergence ou la résurgence d’un opérateur aérien dominant sur un aéroport, qu’il soit ou non exploité sous forme de hub.
