Abstract
Les études faites sur le concept d'adaptation psycho-sociale lié à celui de compétence sociale permettent de proposer un lien entre le niveau d'adaptation psycho-sociale et ce trait de personnalité qu'est le type de foyer de contrôle. C'est l'existence de cette association chez des malades mentaux chroniques qui bénéficieraient des services d'un centre de santé mentale de la Métropole qui a été vérifiée dans une étude faite au cours de l'année dernière par l'auteure de ce travail.
