La pédagogie créative au service des élèves polyhandicapés : résultats d’une recherche-action

Abstract
Cet article met en lumière la mise en place d’une pédagogie créative (Ouellet, 2009 ; Ouellet, Caya et Tremblay, 2011b) ayant pour double but (a) de faire émerger les intérêts et le talent de l’élève ayant de multiples handicaps afin d’avoir un portrait de ce dernier, (b) d’élaborer des scénarios pédagogiques «signifiants» pour favoriser une concertation dans l’intervention pédagogique et éducative (Ouellet et Caya, 2009). Ce projet de recherche-action aura permis d’expérimenter des outils d’intervention, d’évaluation et de suivi (Dionne, Tavares et Rivest, 2006 ; MELS, 2004 1 ) dans une classe d’élèves polyhandicapés. L’équipe travaillant auprès de ces élèves a été impliquée tout au long du projet et a participé à la création d’un environnement d’apprentissage créatif et inclusif, répondant à leurs besoins.
