Les travaux portant sur les antécédents et l’impact d’adoption d’un e-projet par les petites entreprises (PE) sont relativement rares. De même, les expériences réussies dans ce domaine ne sont pas très nombreuses. Pourtant, les affaires électroniques sur Internet peuvent offrir aux PE beaucoup d’avantages et représenter de nouvelles opportunités. Ainsi, cette recherche tente d’éclaircir la question suivante : comment adopter des initiatives performantes des affaires électroniques par les petites entreprises ? Afin de répondre à cette question, un modèle conceptuel a été élaboré en se basant sur les travaux passés et un protocole empirique composé d’études de cas, d’entrevues avec des experts et une enquête par questionnaire a été mobilisé selon une méthodologie pluraliste.
