Abstract
Résumé : Nous présentons dans cet article les résultats d’une recherche ethnographique dans un centre de répartition des urgences 911. L’objectif de cet article est de décrire les « savoir-faire communicationnels » de répartiteurs d’urgence afin de souligner, d’une part, le caractère peu formalisé de ces savoir-faire et, d’autre part, la dépendance de ceux-ci aux conditions et contextes de leur mise en oeuvre. Pour conclure, nous discutons du fait que ces savoir-faire sont en fait des pratiques qui s’actualisent au sein d’une communauté.
