En febrero de 2007, el primer ministro de Quebec crea una Comisión encargada de consultar a la ciudadanía sobre las prácticas de acomodamiento razonable asociadas a diferencias culturales, prácticas que en los últimos años han marcado pro- fundamente la vida política y social de los quebequenses. Aquí analizamos los trabajos de esta Comisión —en particular, la extensa consulta ciudadana desarrollada mediante debate público—, los cuales dieron lugar a un intenso ejercicio participativo y deliberativo sin precedentes en la historia de esta nación.
