L’article analyse l’évolution de l’historiographie et d’autres formes d’écriture du passé récent argentin depuis la fin de la dictature militaire ; il décrit leurs caractéristiques et leurs thèmes principaux. Rares pendant la première décennie de l’après-dictature, les travaux sur le passé récent — en particulier ceux qui relèvent d’une littérature testimoniale — se sont multipliés depuis le milieu des années 1990. L’article décrit en particulier les problèmes et les difficultés auxquels se sont heurtés les historiens pour interpréter et reconstruire le passé récent.
