Abstract

Skema perencanaan pembangunan untuk mengejar pertumbuhan ekonomi dengan pembangunan perkotaan seperti kota Mamminasata jelas mempengaruhi perubahan sosial dalam masyarakat setempat. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menjelaskan dan menganalisis dampak pembangunan Mamminasata menjadi sosio-ekonomi, sosio-budaya dan sosio-ekologis pada masyarakat setempat. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif yang didukung oleh pendekatan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa (1) konversi lahan dan transaksi lain dan komposisi dalam mengambil hunian di perkotaan dengan masyarakat lokal Samata dan Borongraukang memiliki peningkatan masing-masing. (2) Masyarakat lokal dari Samata lebih dipengaruhi oleh keberadaan penduduk perkotaan lebih dari Borongraukang, yang bisa membawa deklinasi kolektivitas antara masyarakat setempat. (3) Perubahan Sosial ekologi akibat dari konversi lahan, gangguan penyaluran air irigasi dan proses kering gabah (padi) adalah bentuk keterasingan terhadap masyarakat setempat (4) Ketergantungan pada sisi lain telah menyebabkan negara keterbelakangan dalam perbedaan sosial, munculnya komunitas individu (Gesselschaft), difusi lembaga perkotaan dan ketergantungan akses permodalan di daerah perkotaan.
