Abstract
Research of essence of hawthorns of North American group is carried out: a hawthorn softish Сrataegus (C.) submollis Sarg., Jack's hawthorn C. jackii Sarg., a hawthorn вееровидного C. flabellata (Bosc.), a hawthorn Canadian C. сanadensis Sarg. Widely cultivated in territory of the UIS. For the first time the quantitative maintenance of essence which fluctuates within 0,177-0,411% is defined, the qualitative structure is studied and the quantitative estimation of the maintenance of components of essence of a hawthorn softish and a hawthorn Canadian is given.
