Abstract
Affubler les bibliothèques du XXI e siècle de l’appellation de « troisième lieu », voire de « tiers-lieu », paraîtra réducteur et peu pertinent à quiconque s’attarde à la question. Considérant le renouvellement constant dont elles font preuve à chaque avancée technologique et leur achalandage croissant, ces bibliothèques de l’ère des médias sociaux ont vraiment su se réinventer. La Bibliothèque Jaume Fuster de Barcelone est un merveilleux exemple de l’évolution de ce lieu culturel, qu’il semble préférable de qualifier d’« espace polymorphe ».
