Abstract
Cet article propose un bilan sélectif des travaux sur les usages de la communication numérique dans les cultures juvéniles en s’intéressant à quatre aspects : la spécificité des dispositifs de communication privilégiés par les jeunes au cours de la décennie 2000 ; le rôle important qu’ils ont joué dans l’exploration de la vie relationnelle ; les dérives qu’ils peuvent entraîner du fait de la publicisation des relations amicales et amoureuses ; et la reconfiguration des réseaux de fans qu’ils ont permise. Enfin, cet article tend à souligner certaines ambivalences de l’intégration du numérique dans la vie quotidienne des jeunes et à inciter à la vigilance devant les versions extrêmement positives de son évolution dans les études récentes sur les communications numériques.
