Abstract
In Alberta (Education) v. Canadian Copyright Licensing Agency (Access Copyright), 2012 SCC 37, a majority of the Supreme Court of Canada ruled that photocopying small amounts of material for classroom use qualified as “private study” under the fair dealing provisions of the Copyright Act.
