On affirme trop vite que les révoltes arabes font entrer des pays dans un âge moderne postreligieux. Car ce temps séculier qui est le nôtre est multiple et contradictoire. La croyance n’y disparaît d’ailleurs pas, même si son impact politique et social n’est plus le même. C’est l’occasion de présenter la grande synthèse du philosophe canadien, pour mieux comprendre les fragilités de l’humanisme séculier.
