A l'universite d'Ottawa, au Canada, l'enseignement de la traduction est assure par l'ecole de traduction et d'interpretation (ETI) qui offre quatre programmes : un doctorat et trois maitrises. L'A. examine l'une de ces trois maitrise, celle d'interpretation de conferences. Il nous rensigne sur la periode de scolarite, les epreuves de selection, l'examen final et les methodes d'enseignement de cette formation qui vise une insertion professionnelle immediate et s'avere etre essentiellement pratique. Il evoque enfin les bons resultats professionnels et la reussite des diplomes.
