Abstract
Les réseaux socionumériques professionnels (RSP) constituent un objet de recherche récent. Parmi les travaux précurseurs, nombreux sont ceux privilégiant une approche pragmatiste de l’objet. Il apparait qu’une approche centrée sur les modes d’appropriation peut paradoxalement rater certaines caractéristiques de son objet, les RSP étant parfois pensés indépendamment des rôles qu’ils assument pour leurs utilisateurs. Dans un premier temps, notre contribution identifie cette limite. Dans un second temps, nous proposons une approche des RSP qui intègre, à l’analyse de l’usage, un questionnement relatif aux fonctions symboliques attribuées à, et assumées par, ces outils de communication.
