Abstract
Seit dem Zusammenbruch der Sowjetunion und dem damit einhergehenden Ende des staatlich regulierten Vielvölkerkonzepts hat Russland einen traurigen Anstieg an Rassismus erlebt, dem in Russland lebende Afrikaner besonders ausgesetzt sind (vgl. exemplarisch Ch. Quist-Adade 2008; J. und E. Allina-Pisano 2008; M. Matusevich 2009). 2006 wurde die Situation Anlass für einen Bericht an die Menschenrechtskommission der Vereinten Nationen (D. Diène 2006). Die Lebenssituation afro-russischer Kinder ist dabei besonders schwierig: Laut der Hilfsorganisation „Fond Metis“ ( http://www.fundmetis.ru ) sind sie überdurchschnittlich oft nicht nur von Rassismus, sondern auch von Armut, gesellschaftlicher Isolation oder Verwaisung betroffen.
